Delivering immersive, pro-level tones for electric, bass and acoustic guitar directly to your headphones, it combines decades of Blackstar amp design expertise with advanced digital modelling, smart app control and modern connectivity in a pocket-sized design that plugs straight into your instrument.
Beam Solo natively loads Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) captures. Through Blackstar’s partnership with
TONE3000, players can explore thousands of community-created captures and load them directly from the Beam app, unlocking a vast collection of authentic amp and rig tones wherever they play.
Beam Solo also includes Moises real-time stem separation* within the Beam app allowing players to
isolate or remove guitar from virtually any streamed or stored song. Mute the original part and step
into the track or isolate the guitar completely to study every part in detail.
Alongside these groundbreaking features, Beam Solo includes 11 electric amplifier models, 3 bass amp
models, an acoustic pre-amp and more than 35 studio-quality effects, developed by Blackstar’s UK
engineering team. The collection supports electric, bass and acoustic guitar, while Blackstar’s patented
ISF control lets players shape their sound continuously from American to British voicings and
everything in between.
The Beam app gives players deep control over amplifiers, effects, cabinets, microphones and room
environments from an iOS or Android device. Edit tones, create and save custom patches, explore
artist signature sounds, jam with curated backing tracks and drum loops, watch video lessons and
share patches with the global Beam community.
An integrated folding 1/4-inch jack plugs directly into the guitar, making Beam Solo ready to play in
seconds. SpeedDial, XpressFX and the dynamic Light Beam display make quick tone shaping fast and
intuitive without opening the app. CabRig’s IR-based speaker simulation and exclusive In The Room
technology recreate the depth, presence and response of a real amplifier through headphones.
With 5+ hours of rechargeable battery life, Bluetooth audio streaming, multi-channel USB-C recording,
a built-in tuner and a 3.5mm headphone output with headset mic input, Beam Solo is built for silent
practice, mobile creativity and direct recording. The headset input lets players capture guitar and
vocals together, while the 62.5g design fits easily into a pocket or gig bag.
