Very hard to find in the UK, this guitar has some lacquer pitting near the jack socket as pictured due to some abrasion, the purfling has also seen some impacts and there are four or five dings pictured. Some lacquer has come away as well behind the treble side tuners.
After discussing the merits of cosmetic improvement, it is for the new owner to consider. We feel the guitar has its story and best left alone as is, better to reflect the condition in the asking price. Relocation forces sale.
The Concierto is a level up from the ‘Primera A series and is designed for professionals and stage performers. Each guitar is personally tested and signed off by renowned flamenco player-teacher, Manuel Granados (as is this one, see label image).
Solid German Spruce top combined with Royal Spanish Cypress back and sides for a beautiful supreme tone and stunning wood grain throughout. Super light guitar with a huge, yet detailed and defined sound.
An L R Baggs pickup has been installed with an easy access battery compartment sympathetically added to the side and discreet soundhole mounted control. Ebony Fingerboard with Cedar Neck and Rosewood Bridge. Nut 52 mm, Scale length 650 mm. Carbon reinforced neck.
Supplied with hardshell case as pictured. Current strings unknown, though factory would have used D'addario EJ45FF. Action is set low, closer to bossa nova. A louder tone and higher classical action could be acheived by adding a higher second saddle, a worthwhile investment for an instrument of this class!
