Superb quality, Japanese hand built early Levinson RH2, recently refurbished including excellent fretdress in our workshop. Quality shines through on a clearly well loved working guitar. Levinson Blade have confirmed age and origin, looks like the guitar was bought in France.
There are various holes and marks on the body from part removal or replacement and other signs of wear and tear including tarnishing of the gold hardware and screw tops. The neck is fantastic however, and you can't deny the beautiful aged Misty Violet finish.
HSH Pickup configuration with five way switch, three way toggle on front and adjustment also available via trim pots on rear so numerous sound options.
This guitar has had modifications and changes:
Pickguard has been modified to allow fitting of a GK synth pickup or similar, now removed leaving original screw holes, a new pickguard could hide these, or you could refit a GK pickup!
Backplate is white ie a presumed replacement.
The machine heads are now black Gotoh style, old screw holes are visible.
The string tree is absent and the tremolo arm is also absent, though a chrome finish arm has been ordered from Blade and will be supplied. Hard case supplied.
