Virtually unplayed , rare S-Classic fretless from 1997. Serviced before sale.
Made in Japan Fujigen factory, this unusual guitar has a pair of HH pickups, 5 way switch, recessed volume and tone knobs and a polished lacquered fretless neck with painted fret markers.
Unique sounds and voicings are possible depending on how you approach the fretless facility, so it can sound a bit like a slide guitar, or hawaiian on cleaner, ethereal settings or super dense once distorted, and that's before you change the tuning from standard!
A few marks on the back but overall in 9/10 condition. Great pickups and a set of Gotoh machine heads help tuning stability. No case or bag is supplied.
Ibanez wiki says : "The S Classic body is described as a marriage of the S series and the classic Radius; the body is similar to the Radius models, while the neck is from the S Classic.".
